That’s a fox, Dreamworks. I’d really rather have seen a Junjie that looks like this. I’d … probably be writing slashy fanfiction about a Junjie who looks like this. He resents Shifu because Shifu never responded to his advances. FACT. It’s all just a big lovelorn misunderstanding, which would also explain why Shifu wasn’t wearing pants when Po found him in the catacombs.

Maybe older foxes look like that?  Also, maybe foxes could have different body shapes?

I found it a neat ref to the art of KFP2, where it was said when they had fox designs, it ended up looking too much like Shifu.
