I do remember the TV series, though.
8| UNACCEPTABLE. FIND THE BOOK. IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING.
Although, LOL, tried to re-read the sequel and JFC Gurney can’t write worth shit. Which is fine cause the art is amazing.
ETA: the writing in the first one is fine because it’s in the format of a journal. For some reason the second one isn’t done like that and it kind of reads like it’s just Gurney’s plot outline of the project. It’s a bit awkward. First one is great though.
Then there’s the THIRD BOOK. But I’ll let you guys hunt that gem down. :3
