Diana is always on my team. #seriouslyDiana: (Seeing a child crying) What’s wrong, little one?
Child: They won’t let me play pirates with them.
Diana: And why not?
Child: Because I’m the girl, and they need someone to save.
Diana: …
Child: It’s okay. I don’t even know how to sword fight.
Diana: (Glances at the boys who are playing pirates) Neither do they. In battle, they’d be slaughtered instantly. Would you like me to teach you how to sword fight?
Diana: (She picks up a stick) They’re using the horizontal cut, but in close like they are…the thrust is a better move as it’s more likely to cause real injury…and less likely to be blocked by your opponent. Do you understand?
Child: Uh-huh.
Diana: (She hands the sword-stick to the child) Now go. Unleash hell.
Steve: That was sweet. Teaching her to disembowel her playmates like that.
-Wonder Woman (2009)I believe the words “Now go. Unleash hell” should be included in every pep talk. Because who doesn’t want to hear those words when they’re about to go into an interview/take a test/meet new people? Now go. Unleash hell.
This is so delightful I cannot even.
