More Cannons! - Kung Fu Panda 2 OST
I’m listening to the KFP soundtracks while I do math, but can I just stop for a moment and geek out entirely over how much I love love love love love this particular track. I think it has to be my favorite from both soundtracks combined. Actually, I’m sure it’s at the top of my list of favorite score tracks period. I really can’t explain it in any coherent terms. I only know that John Powell is a genius and when he works with Hans Zimmer, it’s even better.
This track is so action-packed, and matched to one of the most action-packed scenes in film that I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. The trailers with glimpses of them escaping that falling tower had me so excited, then to finally actually watch it in full and in context was epic.
