That is why the King is literally the BEST CHARACTER in Tangled and EVER, at least within Disney.
With just a few seconds in one single scene, the Queen looks up at the King and you see his face. HIS FACE, GUYS. Without a single word and just one expression, you have seen this man’s ENTIRE life. You have seen everything of his pain and worry through this man’s eyes.
You can love or hate this movie all you want, I don’t care, but to me, this was one of the most powerful scenes and characters ever produced by Disney and the man didn’t even speak.
Hurrrr but this was the only sad part of Tangled… and it was SO SAD. DX This man is the just the greatest character to ever exist. I love him.
