So binged on most of Transformers Prime yesterday. It was one of those shows that I heard about a while a go, put on my ‘to watch’ list and totally forgot about it until a recent reminder popped up on my dash.
And holy cow is it ever amazing. Beast Wars was a huge part of my childhood but I’ve never really been able to get into any of the other series. But Prime is everything I could’ve asked for and more I love it so much. *A*
So of course the first thing I did was draw gijinkas SOB. Here’s Knockout and Breakdown. I saw Chira and Peep’s designs for them before I even saw their robot versions, so inevitably I took some inspiration from their far superior versions.
I tried to give Knockout an evil doctor sort of look but somehow he came out looking like a Star Trek villain. Breakdown I’m actually pretty happy with.
The ‘Help me Knockout’ strip is of course a parody of the wonderful and talented Kate Beaton’s ‘Help Me Handsome Doctor’ comic.
