I think I figured out why they keep switching from all red to just his iris and back again:

Hunger / Energon levels?

I mean, I don’t know, they were red when he raided the Nemesis for energon and when he encountered MECH, and when MECH (those bastards!!) got some energon, thus Star gettin’ some, his eyes went back to normal…

Idk man, just thinkin’ out loud…on the internet… :|

Also…wtf is with his derpy running at the end? XDDD
