Did Starscream just invade Megatron’s personal place ?
SOMEONE STOP ME.
Starscream did something then that Megatron
would not have credited him with the courage to do.
He stepped up to Megatron, close enough that their
faces nearly touched despite Megatron being larger.
“I need no excuse, Megatron,” he said quietly. “Have
confidence in your second. I may have taken a few
liberties with your plan, but if you can’t trust me to fulfil the
mission objective, then perhaps you don’t need my help
for your campaign after all. I am a Seeker, and a Winglord.
I do not need to explain my tactical recalibrations to you
when they bring us glory.”
Starscream drew his face closer, refusing to look
into Megatron’s optics as his breath ghosted over the
warlord’s lip plates. Megatron growled and pushed
Starscream away.
“And I do not need a Second in command who|
refuses to see that he is second.”
