1. prime-style casseticons with soundwave. clockwise from the upper left, ratbat, laserbeak, ravage, rumble, frenzy. neither laserbeak nor ravage are my original designs, they come from the show and from other’s fanart, respectively. ratbat is just a modified laserbeak, and the terrible duo are sort of vehicon/soundwave hybrids, with supposedly missile alts.
2. isaac mourning steve’s death with soundwave providing a literal shoulder to metaphorically cry on. some of the more tragic fanon states that soundwave lost his babbies (sans laserbeak, and possibly ravage if his ‘backpack’ is anything to go by) early on in the war. soundwave knows that feel and decides to provide isaac with the closure he himself never experienced, by sharing with him steve’s drone history data files.
the reason isaac is so shaken up: even though he and steve drifted apart over the vorns (thanks to the latter’s little ‘crush’ driving a political wedge between them) steve never really completely abandoned his father, even if he was constantly led astray by ‘dem legs’. among steve’s salvaged memories from the last 24 hours of conscious thought were included an appointment:
‘Haven’t talked in orns since that last argument. Perhaps I’ll meet up for a cube of energon. Should apologize; everything’s just been so hectic since …left … been an idiot, haven’t I?’
