#fleur delacour is stunning and if you hate her you are just wrong #she is the most powerful young witch in all of france #and i hate that the movies changed beauxbatons to an all-girls school as if fleur was ~only the best girl. no. she was literally the best young witch in france. #clearly she is intelligent and powerful and loyal to her family and the man she loves #pretty girls can have depth too okay #ginny and hermione why u hatin’
# stunning lady # i want your life story tbqh # and the thing she would miss most was her sister omg that instantly endeared her to me i feel u gurl
I wish there was more Fleur in the books. And in the movie of course. She’s so intriguing.
“‘You thought I would not weesh to marry him? Or per’aps, you hoped?’ said Fleur, her nostrils flaring. ‘What do I care how he looks? I am good-looking enough for the both of us, I theenk! All these scars show is that my husband is brave! And I shall do that!’ She said pushing Mrs. Weasley aside and snatching the ointment from her.”- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,“The Phoenix Lament” pg.623
And then I fell in love with Fleur forever. I’m still mad that they cut out their ENTIRE SUBPLOT from the sixth movie. I was really looking forward to seeing the above scene in the movie.
I love that scene/their subplot! It would’ve been great to have seen all of it in the movies.
Did they even bother mentioning they were together in the sixth film? Because I only remember the seventh film going “Oh yeah, by the way these two are getting married”.
Also I’m still wondering why movie Bill has those scars, since the battle never happened in the film version. I mean the scars are meaningless without the context in which he got them and the above scene.
They just had this throwaway line about Greyback doing it and Bill saying he hopes to return the favor one day.
