I mean I love the decepticons too, but I also love the autobots. I don’t see why there is such a huge gap in how much love the factions get. 8(
So I’m not the only one who noticed, and I was really surprised. It seems like EVERYONE really loves the villains this time around—like, a lot more than the white hats. I dunno, I’m kind of basking in it, since I’m not sure I’ve had a fandom like the villains as intensely as I.
But I do feel bad, because TFP’s Autobots are pretty cool (I love Arcee—SUCH AN AWESOME LADY—and Ratchet—GUYS, RATCHET IS A LAST MINUTE SCARECROW AND DCAU’S QUESTION, HELL YEAH JEFFREY COMBS), and they aren’t getting enough fandom love…but I guess it’s sorta the case that the villains are more fun? They’re kinda more fun for me anyway. Starscream’s absence is definitely making the heart grow fonder.
And, well, to open this can of worms…the human kid factor still seems to be controversial with fandom, and the ‘Cons don’t have any at all, so it’s like…pure robot interaction. Actually, I really do like that. Most of the time, I just get complete interaction between the robots and implications of their society and alien nature and everything when we switch to the ‘Cons.
