STUFF THAT KINDA STRUCK ME IN THIS SCENE:
- Robin just not giving a fuck about Artemis coming from a family with a history of criminality. I really, really hope this means they’ll avoid the DC pitfall of ‘morality is genetic and you can never escape what your parents are!’ BS. It was kinda nice how he just… didn’t care.
- Also nice: Bruce caring at least a little about Artemis’ privacy. YJ!BRUCE IS BIZARRO BRUCE. Blonde teen vigilante with criminal parents on the streets to get back at Dad? Take her into your team and give her respect and privacy to keep an eye on her and her safety! As opposed to comics!Bruce, which… Steph. Yeah.
- KALDUR YOU ARE THE GREATEST LEADER. So calm and trusting and sure of his team, dklfjskfl;;ls
- OTOH, what was Robin thinking in this scene? When Kaldur says that nobody, at least, is a traitor, he looks kinda… sad. Maybe they meant it to look like worry because Robin isn’t quite sure that’s that? Orrr to get ~tinhatty, maybe he’s doing something he shouldn’t be. Not re: being the mole, but I’ve always wondered if Bruce has some kind of ulterior motive with YJ, since he’s been so… straightforward with them thus far, and even a nicer Bruce is never entirely straightforward. Maybe he’s got Dick doing something, idk idk. TINHATTING: MY HOBBY!
