Never forgiving Peter Jackson & Co. for reducing Gimli to comic relief, stripping his relationship with Legolas from the narrative (THEY CALLED HIM ELF-FRIEND ON ACCOUNT OF HIS GREAT LOVE FOR LEGOLAS) (HIS GREAT LOVE!!!!!), and inexplicably playing up a friendship between Legolas and Aragorn. NEVA 4GIVE, NEVA 4GET.
I need to reread the books, but still even from the movies I still got Gimli and Legolas’ relationship and adored it. Hated all the Aragorn/Legolas fic, I mean WTF? What about Aragorn’s canon love interest? What about Gimli?
