Clearly this SHOULD mean that it’s a shoe-in. So if Puss in Boots or Rango wins…
Rooting for Kung Fu Panda 2, but I admit, when trying to go for no bias, I’d be okay with a Rango win (but still quietly think on some level where bias can’t be overcome that KFP2 still should’ve won). Puss in Boots was fun, and Puss was always my favorite character from the Shrek movies, but I’m not sure if I’d give it an Oscar when compared to KFP2 and Rango. The nominations for 2 foreign animated features are also interesting (one I really want to see, the other I never heard of before but it sounds intriguing).
