I didn’t know what to expect when I went to see “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”. But I have to say that this is an excellent film.
I know many of you will assume that’s because of Franco, but the real star of the film is Andy Serkis (sorry Tom Felton fans). Andy Serkis is the actor who played Gollum, in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. You will be stunned in his portrayal of Ceaser. Although a lot of credit has to be given to the CGI team for this amazing performance. Without them it wouldn’t be possible.
I don’t want to say more, in case you haven’t seen it yet. But I encourage you to check it out. And I’ll be shocked if none of you want to shed a tear or two throughout the film.
