well since im on a role with the twin au, some Thoughts (im on mobile so bear with the formatting):
- the emperor doesn’t know about shen. well, he does in the sense that there were reports on him that were relayed back to him, but he doesn’t know his significance to the soothsayer specifically. idk how that gets brought up, maybe the emperor presses on the subject a bit too much and she just. Gets Up and Leaves
- the soothsayer and oogway have a silent agreement in regards to talking abt their past– she doesnt press abt the galapagos, and he doesnt talk abt the forbidden city. i mean, the both of them slip but they skirt around things like memories and such and just talk abt sensations and the stuff they did like; what the air there was like, the feel of the grass, the food, stuff like that
- oogway probably met up with the emperor on several occasions, which was very awkward considering that he knew where his sister is for all that time and never told him

i want to believe the siblings themselves are still on good-ish terms but after the soothsayer left the forbidden city to do her own thing, it’s like she fell off the face of the earth and they never heard from her again… despite still taking up a high position in a different nobility’s court, so like idk man
after the events of what happened at the theme park ride, po is all like “wow you really look like this one goat lady that saved my life that one time its such a weird coincidence :)” and the emperor is like “wait WHAT???”
this leads to po, shifu, and ping (bc why not), along with the emperor and his entourage come into gongmen city. the city nearly collectively gets a heart attack, the master’s council thinks they’re being attacked again until the soothsayer sighs and is just like “lemme handle this alright”
and then the cat is out of the bag– the masters are surprised and the soothsayer is just. Done with all these disruptions and also potential awkward sibling ~~hug~~ headbutts
the soothsayer calls out the emperor for doing that, saying that its a flagrant misuse of his power to just waltz in with a parade’s worth of people just to have catch-up over tea and why did you drag po into this????
its honestly been so long that it feels weird to refer to each other as brother and sister, so they just continue to call each other by their titles
the emperor wants her to come back home, but the soothsayer wont have it saying that shes busy with council work and he’s probably Also busy with emperor stuff
after the meeting the soothsayer keeps on getting really lavish gifts from time to time and to be honest, she’s running out of space for all this stuff
