i feel like something that just gets completely glossed over in infinity war is the fact that tony stark figures out how the q-ship works in Literal Seconds ??? he takes One Look at it and just casually states that the ship is on auto pilot and on a self-directing course. and dr strange asks tony if HE can get them home. he can see that tony actually Knows His Shit and defers to TONY, putting his trust in him. and then in their next scene we see that tony Knows what to do in order to steer the ship to land them on titan??? and directs peter on what to do in order to help him steer it. and just wow i stan A Genius. oh and also bear in mind that tony is like,,, Shit Scared Of Space And Aliens??? and was fighting back an anxiety attack on the ship. yet he was out here figuring out how alien technology works and deciding to go to titan to come face-to-face with the source of his PTSD ????

i remembered my evil/jadeswap au!oogway and finally designed the kai amulet lmao
basically the au boils down to: what if oogway was the one that went mad with qi power as opposed to kai. as a result of his near death experience, oogway pretty much dived headfirst into study qi with way too much zeal to be considered healthy. kai doesn’t say anything at the time bc he didnt think much of it
his armor is made out of his former army’s collective qi. as a result of that abomination to mankind he started forming jade spikes on his shell and also on his head. the aforementioned is what makes up his qinglong ji, which can be used as a melee weapon or what amounts as a magic blaster. he can also collect the ambient qi in an area to give a minor buff
he’s equal opportunity when it comes to stealing people’s qi as he does recognize that non-masters/fighters can have strong qi as well. and if not, they can provide information as he can parse through the amulets’ memories (up to a point). and if not that, well power’s power. he keeps all the amulets on his sash… things??

anyway, this is less of a speculation, but more of me just wanting to design characters with the four constellations as a motif bc honestly?? i just wanted a really good excuse to make more oc’s.
they’re all jade palace students– circa 450-ish years before the events of the movies happen, so theyre an early group and therefore know abt all that stuff regarding oogway being an ex-general (some more than others). while i think at the end they had to part ways to do their own thing, they still kept in touch
